Dr Alla Shikhanovich

Meet Dr. Alla Shikhanovich, DMD. It is pronounced “Shi'-hanovich". Please give it a try. You can always call her, as do many of her current patients, “Doctor Alla". For more than 10 years, Dr. Shikhanovich has been providing the highest quality of adult and pediatric dental care with the emphasis on offering comprehensive dental treatment plans. Her patients have always appreciated Dr. Alla’s expertise, her attention to detail and, most of all, her gentle approach. Dr. Alla’s educational journey began in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where, in 1996, she completed her studies and graduated with a Physician Assistant diploma. After immigrating to the United States, Dr. Alla received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts. She continued her studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where, along with her DMD degree, she received extensive training in implant placement and restorations, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery. During her last year of dental school, Dr. Alla was a recipient of a prestigious award from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Alla is certified in Invisalign Teeth Alignment Technology applications. She is also licensed to administer various procedures designed to treat such conditions as acne scars, facial volume loss, skin elasticity, fine wrinkles and lines. Such procedures include: Euro PDO and PLLA Threads and Microneedling (with stem cell serum), Botulinum Injections (Botox), and Dermal Fillers. Dr. Alla maintains active involvement in both local and national dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Alla is fluent in Russian, which is often appreciated by her multi-lingual patients.
