Dr. Lamothe grew up in Marshall, Texas, the middle-born of five children. He attended Wiley College in his hometown, where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology, and The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Lamothe has been in the private practice of general dentistry in the Atlanta area for the past 35 years. Most recently, he transitioned to his Smyrna Dental and Headache Center in Smyrna, Georgia, where he now concentrates on Airway, Sleep, and TMJ treatment. He is dedicated to the newest advancements in Sleep Dentistry and Breathing Wellness. Dr. Lamothe has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses and keeps up to date with the latest technologies. Dr. Lamothe has been affiliated with the National Dental Association, the North Georgia Dental Society, the American Dental Implant Association, and the American Sleep and Breathing Academy over the years. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. When Dr. Lamothe is not practicing, he enjoys photography, golfing, reading, and saltwater marsh fishing. He is a widower and the proud father of two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren.
