Dr. Tonique L. Reynolds is a 1993 graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. While at Howard, she was inducted into the Beta Kappa Chi National Scientific Honor Society. Dr. Reynolds received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1999 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey, currently known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. While at UMDNJ, she became a member of Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and participated in an externship at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. She completed a general practice dental residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York, where she received extensive training in the treatment of dental emergencies, head and neck trauma, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry and other aspects of general dentistry. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Reynolds served three years as dental director of Horizon Health Center, a federally qualified health center located in her hometown of Jersey City, New Jersey. After relocating to Georgia in 2004 and practicing as a corporate associate dentist for three years, she decided to step out on faith and establish her very own practice, Family Smile Center LLC. Dr. Reynolds continues to expand her education through courses in cosmetic dentistry, oral implantology, orthodontics and much more. She is a former student of the Misch International Implant Institute and is a certified Hybridge Full Arch techniques dental implant provider. Dr. Reynolds has completed extensive training with Implant Pathway in Tempe, Arizona, where she has been recognized as a fellow in dental implantology. Her Implant Pathway training has also awarded her fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Reynolds is currently a member of the American Dental Association®, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, the American Association of Women Dentists and the Hinman Dental Society.
