Dr Andrew V. Herwig

Dr. Andrew has been a member of the Herwig DDS family since before he could walk. His father, Robert V. Herwig, DDS, was the practice’s previous owner for more than 30 years. After spending many hours in the family office, Dr. Andrew knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a dentist. To achieve this goal, Dr. Andrew started his education at the University of Kansas, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology and a Minor in Business. He then attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, graduating and becoming licensed as a DDS in 2015. Dr. Andrew is continually educating himself to deliver the highest quality customer service and best possible care to his patients. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and Fifth District Dental Society. Outside of the office, Dr. Andrew loves spending time with his wife, Emma, daughters, Ava, Emmie, and Kate, and dog, Rosie. They love traveling, golfing, cheering on KU and being outside – whether it is going on walks, grilling in the backyard, tailgating with friends or being at the lake.
