Growing up in rural Louisiana and Texas, Dr. Lauren Brammeier values a small town feel and strives to build long-lasting relationships with her patients. After getting to know Dr. Derrico and his team, it was clear that their philosophy on dentistry truly mirrors her own. Dr. Brammeier is excited for this new opportunity and is committed to seeing out Dr. Derrico’s legacy through superior dentistry and exceptional care. Dr. Brammeier graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2002 from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biochemistry. She obtained her Doctor of Dental surgery degree in 2007 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. After graduation, Dr. Brammeier moved to Phoenix, Arizona. She practiced in a variety of dental settings including urban clinics, group and private practices, before owning her own practice in central Phoenix. Understanding the value of organized dentistry, Dr. Brammeier served on the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona Dental Society and the Council for Membership and New Dentist Committee for the Arizona Dental Society. Currently, she is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Brammeier is committed to serving her community by reaching those in need and providing excellent dental care in a compassionate way. While in Phoenix, she served as a Lead Member of the Organization Committee for the Arizona Mission of Mercy, an organization that provides free dental care through volunteers. After moving to Illinois in 2015 to be near her husband’s family, Dr. Brammeier traveled with her local church group to Haiti for an unforgettable mission trip. She triaged patients in several villages, performed dental extractions, educated the locals on oral hygiene and distributed much needed dental and medical supplies. Dr. Brammeier looks forward to more mission trips and the ability to serve underprivileged populations around the world.
