Dr. Christopher Chan, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, is a native of Southern California, where he grew up surfing and playing competitive ice hockey. He attended California State University, Long Beach, where he studied bio-physiology and chemistry. During college, he developed a passion for dentistry, leading him to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Chan graduated with honors and received multiple awards for his commitment to community service, regularly volunteering at local dental clinics to provide care for underserved populations. To further advance his expertise, he completed a rigorous oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Fresno, where he received extensive training in general anesthesia, medicine, plastic surgery, maxillofacial pathology, corrective jaw surgery, dentoalveolar surgery (wisdom tooth removal, dental implants), and facial trauma and reconstruction. After residency, Dr. Chan returned to Southern California to be close to family and friends. He remains dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, combining surgical techniques with a compassionate approach.
