Dr Sarai Ruiz Nieves

“Trying to change the world one smile at a time.” Dr. Sarai Ruiz Nieves, DMD sees dentistry as one of her biggest passions. She understands that getting dental work can be overwhelming and treats each patient with compassion to fulfill their needs. In 2021 and 2022, she was recognized as a Top Dentist on FindATopDoc.com! Dr. Ruiz Nieves specializes in Cosmetic Dentistry, including veneers and crowns. She is certified in Smile Design, which involves a more comprehensive look at the smile to enhance it’s original features. Dr. Ruiz Nieves harmonizes the teeth and smile to bring out what makes a patient look and feel more confident. Born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, Dr. Ruiz Nieves graduated with honors from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in General Science and minor in Biology. In 2009, she obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Ruiz Nieves furthered her education with a General Practice Residency and Hospital Dentistry at Ohio State University. Through her two-year residency program, she was able to perform full-mouth restoration, cosmetic cases and the restoration of implants. After her residency, she was also able to be part of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, expanding her dental care knowledge to comprehensively manage and treat children.
