Dr. Boch grew up in central Pennsylvania and received a B.S in Biology with honors from Penn State University in 1992. He received his DMD degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He completed a 5 year periodontology postgraduate training program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2001 and received a Doctor of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology, DMSc. During that time he received numerous awards and honors including the Roy O. Greep Award for Excellence in the Basic Sciences and the James H. Shaw Award for Excellence in Biomedical Research. Dr. Boch is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He was the recipient of 2 five year NIH grants and has authored fourteen articles in peer reviewed scientific journals. He practiced periodontics in Concord and Lexington for 11 years before opening his own office in Wayland, MA. Currently, he is a part time lecturer/Clinical Instructor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and is active in the Massachusetts Dental Society serving as treasurer of the Middlesex District.
