Dr. Chen is a periodontist who graduated from the University of Michigan with a prestigious award, Sigurd P. Ramfjord Award for Excellence in Graduate Periodontics. She obtained her dental degree from West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University (China), and holds a specialist degree and Ph.D. degree in Implantology and Prosthodontics from the same institution. Dr. Chen currently serves as a full-time clinical faculty at the University of Michigan, where she actively engages in both didactic and clinical instruction for predoctoral and graduate periodontal residents. Her research focuses on dental implants, soft tissue, and digital dentistry.
