Dr Scott Shepherd

Dr. Shepherd began practicing as a dentist in 1994. He started serving dental patients in the Palm Springs area at Palm Springs Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in 2008. Dr. Shepherd and his team know you have options when it comes to your dental care. We believe our job is to help you understand those options. We are proud to be a part of the Palm Springs community and look forward to partnering with you and delivering the highest quality care. Dr. Shepherd is a native of Georgetown, SC. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1994. He began his dental career as a commissioned officer in the Navy and Public Health Service with postings in California, Arizona and Alaska. During his service, Dr. Shepherd worked in a variety of clinical dental settings including hospital-based practices, rural health clinics, and remote villages above the Arctic Circle. Following his service, Dr. Shepherd moved to Vancouver, Washington where he joined a large group dental practice focusing on quality dentistry and high patient satisfaction. As an evidence based practice, Dr. Shepherd was privileged to participate in research and the use and evaluation of new dental technology and techniques. After eight years in the Pacific NW, Dr. Shepherd sought to fulfill his love of the sun and warm weather. He has enjoyed making Palm Springs his permanent home.
