Dr. Arkwazee’s journey into dentistry started at a young age. She grew up living with her grandmother, who wore dentures, and watched in amazement one evening as she took them out. Holding a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Iraq, where Dr. Arkwazee met her husband, Ibrahim, and after completing her internship, the family decided to leave Iraq for a better life and moved to the United States. Dr. Arkwazee worked as a dental assistant and hygienist before being accepted into Penn Dental Medicine, an Ivy League school. She is passionate about educating patients, ensuring they feel informed and empowered regarding their oral health. At Waterside Dental, we treat our patients like family and strive to make each visit the best experience possible. When not practicing, Dr. Arkwazee loves painting, handcrafts, and spending time with her husband, Ibrahim and daughter, Tanya.
