Dr. Weiss was raised in Arizona and attended the University of California at Davis where she earned an undergraduate degree in animal physiology. She graduated with honors from the University of Washington Dental School and thereafter served a general practice residency with the United States Air Force Health Service. She was an associate dentist in Bangor, Maine, before moving to Bremerton where she was in private practice for 25 years. She now joins her colleague and friend, Dr. Mayes, to continue practicing general dentistry with an emphasis on preventive dentistry. She is an avid reader, cook, and gardener. Dr. Weiss also rescues unwanted animals, hikes, canoes, knits, and teaches yoga.
