Dr. Alisha Bucan was born and raised in Romeo Michigan. Her education includes a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Oakland University with a focus on Biology. She then went on to Wayne State University receiving a Master’s degree in Basic Medical Sciences prior to obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona, graduating in May of 2020. While in dental school, she was involved in various student organizations and was secretary for Midwestern University’s American Student Dental Association. Dr. Alisha participated in many volunteer events such as Give Kids a Smile and the Arizona Mission of Mercy. She loves giving back to the community. One of her favorite experiences in school was traveling to Tonga on a mission trip and providing dental treatment to the underserved. Dr. Alisha is excited to return back to Michigan and work in a town that her family would visit often on their way to Petoskey. She is seeing patients in both the Frankenmuth location at 1025 W. Genesee Street and the Hemlock location at 15741 Gratiot Road. Dr. Alisha practices in all aspects of general dentistry with special interests in pediatric and restorative dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
