Dr Eric Gerlach

Dr. Eric Gerlach is a native small town Oregonian, born and raised. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Oregon State University (Go Beavs!), where he met his future wife, Anna, while volunteering at a dental event for the homeless. Following graduation, he and Anna attended OHSU School of Dentistry where they earned their DMD and got married. The next step in their adventure took them to Memphis, TN where Dr. Eric completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, and Dr. Anna completed her Orthodontic residency. There, they began their family and welcomed their first son. Shortly after moving back home to the PNW and continuing to practice dentistry, they welcomed their second and third sons. Having three active boys makes for a fun household! Today, he couldn’t feel more grateful caring for Sherwood’s smiles as the owner and founder of Sparrow Dental. He loves seeing the local families and community members come in and experience a new type of dentistry they aren’t used to. He makes it his mission to create a loving and fun atmosphere, while providing honest and high quality oral healthcare for all of his patients. Outside of the office, Dr. Eric is likely exploring the great PNW, hiking, camping, at the range, or exercising. Many weekends are spent at the beach with the family, doing DIY projects at home, and spending quality time with his family while growing in his faith.
