Dr John Chung

Dr. Chung grew up in Southern California and earned his undergraduate degree at Loma Linda La Sierra University in 1990. Four years later, he received his doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Chung then enjoyed private practice in the Beaverton area from 1994 to 2013. After two years providing care in a large group practice, Dr. Chung realized that private practice allowed him to serve his patients better. In 2016, he started Tigard City Dental PC and transitioned retiring Dr. Richard Johnson’s patients to the practice. Dr. Chung appreciates the trusting relationships developed with each of his patients. Personalized treatment plans and genuine smiles crafted to fit each patient’s unique needs are central to his philosophy. He enjoys implementing the latest dental technology in his practice, and he focuses on finding innovations that create the ultimate dental experience for his patients.
