Dr Rachel Heard

Dr. Rachel Heard has been practicing dentistry in Victoria, TX, since 2001. She graduated with her BA degree in biology from University of Texas in Austin, while earning the UT Health Science Center Women’s Faculty Leadership Award in 1997. After dental school, she served in the US Air Force from 1997-2001. In June of 1998, she became the company grade officer of the Quarter Brooks Air Force base. She also won the Professional Image Award of the Year in the Brooks Air Force base medical squadron that same year. Dr. Heard is whole-heartedly committed to the community in which she serves. She worked as the secretary of the local dental society from 2006-2007, the treasurer and vice president from 2007-2008, and the president from 2008-2009. She has served in the Junior League of Victoria for ten years, where she is currently a sustainer. In addition, she has served on several boards including the Victoria Ballet Theatre and St. Joseph High School. When she’s not improving people’s lives through dentistry, Dr. Rachel enjoys fishing, running, triathlons, volunteering at the coffee shop at church, traveling on mission trips, and supporting community organizations. Dr. Rachel C. Heard has a true passion for improving the lives of her patients through advanced and exceptional dental care. She has provided Victoria with comprehensive dentistry services for more than 16 years.
