Fatima Tavares, DMD, is an esteemed member of the Coast Dental Wesley Chapel team providing top-notch dental care in a compassionate and patient-centered environment. Dr. Tavares earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2007 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at New Jersey City University. Her academic excellence is reflective of the high-quality care she delivers to each patient. In addition to her robust background in molar root canals, surgical extractions, and implant restorations, Dr. Tavares is adept at enhancing and revitalizing smiles through various treatments, including comprehensive dental exams, dentures, partials, veneers, and whitening services. Prior to joining our team, Dr. Tavares honed her craft as the owner of Chestnut Dental Group, LLC, for fifteen years and previously as an associate dentist in Newark, NJ. Her rich professional experience is complemented by her early years as a dedicated dental assistant, which helped her develop a deep understanding of patient care from all perspectives. Multilingual and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Dr. Tavares can communicate effectively with a diverse patient population, bridging gaps and ensuring that every patient feels heard and understood.
