Dr Amy Cha

After practicing dentistry for many years, Dr. Amy Cha is excited to join the North Carroll Dental family! Her caring and comprehensive approach to dentistry has been appreciated by the numerous patients with whom she has established long-term relationships. Dr. Cha strives to provide patients with quality, ethical and compassionate dental care to help them achieve optimal oral health, and she looks forward to providing this level of detailed care to each of her new patients. After graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in Psychology, Dr. Cha worked for several years on mental health and dental research projects. These work experiences not only afforded her the opportunity to observe firsthand the importance of oral health on an individual's mental and systemic well-being, but they also served as the impetus for her decision to pursue a career in the dental field. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. Through dentistry, she hopes to positively impact people's overall health. Dr. Cha grew up in Maryland and currently resides in Ellicott City. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, going on family hikes and bike rides, as well as playing sports and board games together. Individually, she enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants, playing tennis, traveling, and engaging in artistic hobbies.
