Dr. Hertzel grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, a southwest suburb of Cleveland. After graduating from Olmsted Falls High School in 1997, he attended Muskingum College. While attending Muskingum, he was a member of the MACE Club, Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, American Chemical Society, Order of Omega, and Spirit Band. Dr. Hertzel received his Bachelors of Science in Biology along with minors in Chemistry and Business in 2001 from Muskingum College. From there he went on to attend dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. Dr. Hertzel has been in private practice in Columbus since graduating from Ohio State. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and has extensive experience with CEREC same day restorations. Dr. Hertzel resides in Gahanna with his wife Mone’ and two children, William and Isabelle. He enjoys spending his spare time with his family, hunting, fishing, bowling, and occasionally attending Buckeyes, Blue Jackets and Clippers games.
