Dr. Patrick Coulter is a 2024 graduate of West Virginia School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Coulter earned the Simon P. Hullihen Scholarship for excellence in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As a fourth year dental student he completed a periodontal internship in which he assisted in research with the Yomi guided Dental Implant Surgery Robot. He served as President for both the WVU Chapter of the American Student Dental Association and the WVU Academy of General Dentistry and received the American Student Dental Association Leadership Award. Originally from Mishawaka, Indiana, he graduated from Marian High School where he was a football stand out. He then attended Indiana University in Bloomington, earning a BS in Biology in 2020. While at IU, he published multiple papers in the field of Microbiology. He became an avid and accomplished bicycle rider during under-grad as a member of the Cutters bicycle racing team where he helped his team win the Little 500 two times. He also served on the Rider’s Council for 2 years. Since graduation, Dr. Coulter has completed training in oral sedation through the DOCS program and is currently attending the Dawson Academy. He is married to Chloe, who is an anesthesiology resident at Indiana University Medical Center. Like Dr. Spees, Dr. Coulter is a second generation dentist. In his time off, he enjoys hunting and fly fishing.
