Dr Bosman graduated in 1985 at the University of Pretoria. He worked in the prosthetic department of 1 Military Hospital during his national military training. He also completed a honors degree in endodontics during this time. He opened a private practice focusing on esthetic dentistry in 1987. Dr Bosman has a special interest in the arts and does sculpting and painting.
