Dr Feheem Bhamjee is a registered specialist in Oral Medicine and Periodontology having completed his MCHD training in December 2017. Feheem is a founder and co-director of Matrix Dental Specialists, a unique specialist dental practice offering a wide range of dental treatments of the highest international standards.He served as a postgraduate clinical consultant at the University of the Western Cape until December 2022 and currently serves as vice president of the South African Society of Periodontology , Oral medicine and Implantology (SASPIO). Feheems received other postgraduate diplomas on en route to specialist qualifications. These include postgraduate diplomas in oral implantology in 2009, MFOS colleges of medicine primary examinations in 2010 and another postgraduate diploma in oral surgery with the University of Pretoria in 2011. Following the completion of his MCHD programme in 2017 he received advanced training in immediate dental implant rehabilitation techniques in Brazil and Portugal . In 2020 he completed a Master Course in Regenerative and Plastic-Esthetic Periodontal Surgery with the University of Bern. His clinical practice is focused on advanced treatment planning and all surgical aspects of Periodontology and implantology.
