Dr Jannie Meyer

Dr Jannie Meyer matriculated from Point High School, Mossel Bay, where he continued to study dentistry (BChD) at the University of Stellenbosch. In 1987, he graduated as a dentist and continued to complete his two years of national service in the Military (1987-1989). He worked at a private practice in Tokai from 1989 to 1994. In 1994, he started his own private practice in Tokai, at his current address, where he permanently practices dentistry. He has also worked part-time at a private dental practice in Clapham Junction, London, UK, since 2002. Dr Meyer's special interest in surgery and aesthetics allowed him to further his postgraduate education in these fields. Dr Meyer’s advanced surgical experience allowed him to take an interest in implantology. He has over thirty years of experience in the surgical placement of implants and has successfully restored numerous dental implants with crowns placed on the same day (immediate loading). Professional affiliations: The South African Dental Association (SADA), The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), The South African Association of Aesthetic Dentistry (SAAAD). With over thirty years of experience, Dr. Meyer's sound knowledge, clinical expertise, and friendly and caring personality have been the basis for his long-term success. He is married to Igna and has two sons, Stephan and David. His hobbies and interests include golf, running, and wine tasting.
