Dr. De Sousa spent her high school years at the American International School in Abu Dhabi. She studied engineering for 6 months in Canada, before having the opportunity to pursue her lifelong passion to study dentistry. She obtained a degree in Dentistry at the University of Pretoria. She has special interest in Aesthetics and Restorative dentistry. She has furthered her knowledge in these fields through the attendance of multiple dental courses and conferences. She also loves working with children. Building their trust and developing a healthy dentist relationship with them is her passion. At this time, she has developed a special interest in orthodontics and is working towards furthering her knowledge in this field. She is fluent in English and Afrikaans. Dr. Dorien is a mother of a little boy and spends most of her free time with her family. He is a busy baby and keeps her active. She loves the outdoors and travelling.
