Mr Paul Barnes

Paul Barnes is a registered Specialist in Periodontics and has been involved with implant dentistry for more than 15 years. Paul qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1987. He was awarded his Master’s degree in Periodontology and a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992. He is a partner at Ringley Park Dental Practice and an honorary clinical lecturer in the Department of Continuing Professional Development, Eastman Dental Hospital, London. Paul has undertaken advanced training in periodontal regeneration in Switzerland and in implantology in the USA, Switzerland and Sweden. He is secretary to the general practitioners’ section of the British Society of Periodontology and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the British Dental Association, the European Association for Osseointegration, the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Paul serves as a mentor for the ITI in Surrey. He has also assisted in leading a dental volunteer programme for Bridge2Aid, a registered charity, in Mwanza, Tanzania. Married with three children, he enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, cycling and sailing.
